Lily - 1969 to 2000

Lily was an outstanding student throughout her school years, always with straight A's. She did fall in love during her senior year of High School and gave birth to a baby boy. While Lily planned on raising the boy herself, she was under 18 and her parents took the child from the Hospital and gave it up for adoption. That boy, Scott, later searched Lily out and they were happily reunited in 1995.

After High School, Lily graduated Boston College and went on to teaching. In 1977 Lily married Edward Buckus and they moved to NH and started Northwind Antiques. After losing the business and home to "eminent domain", Lily bought the 42 room Gosseville Inn located in Epsom, NH. The business was relocated and by 1997 Lily started selling exclusively on eBay. Lily was so giving, the house became a sanctuary for stray animals and friends needing a place to stay. Lily was a best friend to her children, Wendy, Brett, and Ashley, and their friends often called her "Mom" too! Lily's mother and two aunts also moved in to the house when they became ill, along with Lily's father.

Lilys husband, Eddie passed away suddenly in 1999. Eddie was a big part of the business and helped his daughter, Wendy start her own business delivering antiques.

While the business grew, and the internet grew, Lily faced more personal hurdles. Her son, Brett became seriously ill, going under chemotherapy, while Lily and the family nursed him back to health and full recovery.

Like Lilys heart, her home was open to everyone, and no one in need was ever turned away.
